What is muscle relaxant?
Muscle relaxant has been used in aesthetic medicine for over 20 years to treat wrinkles caused by muscles. The protein causes the muscles around the wrinkle to relax temporarily. As a result, wrinkles are smoothed or disappear and new wrinkles caused by facial expressions cannot develop. The treatment helps to look younger and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

How does the muscle relaxant treatment work?
After a detailed consultation with our experienced M1 Med Beauty doctors, the muscle relaxant is injected precisely into the desired skin or facial areas using very fine needles.
Is treatment with muscle relaxant painful?
Injections with muscle relaxant are usually hardly painful – more like a small pinch. An anaesthetic cream is often applied beforehand to reduce the discomfort.
What is important after the treatment?
In the first 4-5 hours after treatment, please:
> Stay upright (do not lie down or bend over)
Avoid the following for a few days:
> Sauna, solarium, strong sunlight and intense heat
> Sport or physical exertion
Following these instructions will support the effectiveness of the treatment and minimise the risk of unwanted side effects.
How long does the effect of muscle relaxant last?
The effect usually becomes apparent after 2-3 days, the full result after 1-2 weeks. The effect lasts for about 4-6 months. The treatment can then be repeated.
