Volume & Definition treatments with Hyaluronic Acid

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid has been a proven active ingredient in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of volume loss and static wrinkles for many years. The moisturising substance occurs naturally in the body and binds water in the skin – for a visibly fresher and plumper complexion. Targeted injections with hyaluronic acid can fill lost volume, define contours and effectively smooth fine lines and deeper wrinkles.

After a thorough consultation with one of our experienced M1 Med Beauty doctors, hyaluronic acid is carefully administered into the targeted areas of the skin or face using fine needles. The procedure is designed to restore volume and improve the skin’s appearance.
The sensation during hyaluronic acid treatment is typically minimal, with many clients describing it as a slight pinch. To further reduce discomfort, an anaesthetic cream may be applied to the treated area before the procedure.

In the first 4-5 hours after your treatment, it is recommended to:

> Remain in an upright position (avoid lying down or bending over)
For a few days following treatment, you should also avoid:
> Sauna, solarium, strong sunlight and intense heat
> Sport or physical exertion

Following these aftercare instructions can help maintain the effectiveness of the treatment and reduce the risk of any potential side effects.

The effects of dermal filler treatments are typically noticeable immediately and can last up to six months. Over time, the hyaluronic acid is naturally broken down by the body, and the results gradually diminish.
